Together with its 19 national European Member State members, it represents the interests of more than 30.000 companies trading with vehicle parts, components and accessories throughout Europe.

The aim of FIGIEFA is to safeguard a legislative environment in the EU that provides access to technical information, to the ‘connected vehicle’ and its in-vehicle data as well as to replacement parts/equipment as the basis for free and fair competition in the automotive aftermarket in a rapidly changing automotive technology environment.

Technical Director

Responsibilities:

As a Technical Director, you will lead all technical and ‘connected vehicle’ IT-related dossiers and processes in connection with FIGIEFA’s activities in the area of the automotive aftermarket and be an integral part of the senior management team for policy and strategy.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Lead FIGIEFA’s approach in all technical and ‘connected vehicle’ IT-related matters.
  • Participate in meetings (in Brussels or EU) and take responsibility for the management of technical subjects and dossiers (e.g. telematics, EC type-approval legislation).
  • Support the FIGIEFA Secretariat in its information activities and meetings.
  • Advise and prepare answers on upcoming questions from the EU institutions and help in the preparation of position papers.
  • Liaise with FIGIEFA’s partner alliance associations (AFCAR – Alliance for the Freedom of Car Repair in the EU) to agree and align the technical approach.
  • Communicate with FIGIEFA legal/political experts and work out common strategies, statements, papers and positions.
  • Report results and work evolution on a regular basis amongst the FIGIEFA team and AFCAR partners.
Profile:
  • You are a senior and experienced automotive technical expert or are experienced in vehicle-related IT technologies around the ‘connected vehicle’ (e.g. telematics and cybersecurity).
  • You are, preferably, specialised in vehicle communication, vehicle design/functionality, diagnostics or contemporary and developing vehicle technologies.
  • You have experience of the European automotive related legislative landscape/legislation
  • You have experience of CEN/ISO standardisation structure and processes
  • You have excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills to effectively present and defend the technical aspects of FIGIEFA or AFCAR’s position.
  • You are flexible, proactive, and able to work on your own as well as in close cooperation with the FIGIEFA Secretariat.
  • You are able to assess the business consequences of new legislation, automotive technologies and vehicle related services.
  • You are ready to travel frequently to other European countries.

Function :

Senior R&D Project Leader

Responsibilities:

As a Senior R&D Project Leader, the candidate will lead strategic R&D projects, including software and hardware components and equipment. Reporting to the CTO, the candidate will lead innovation throughout the company.

The positions’s main responsibilities are:

  • Lead strategic R&D projects from concept to commercialization including specifications, design, prototype, industrialisation, manufacturing, and commercial release of software driven electromechanical systems.
  • Ensure resources, processes, procedures and controls are adapted to the projects needs.

En tant que Network & Security Engineer and Architect, vos principales responsabilités sont les suivantes :

  • Conseiller le client en fournissant des recommandations concrètes.

  • Vous possédez une bonne connaissance générale des firewalls les plus utilisés (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, F5, etc.) et des proxys, reverse proxys et autres équipements (Bluecoat, etc.).
  • Vous avez des notions de gestion de projet (Prince2 ou PMI), et avez une bonne connaissance des systèmes de gouvernance ITIL et CobiT. Une certification réseau Cisco, Ethical Hacking ou en cybersécurité est un sérieux atout.

Clinical Research Associate/Manager

Responsibilities:

Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, as Clinical Research Associate/Manager, you are responsible for the operational management and the oversight of clinical trials according to the clinical strategy.

Your main responsibilities are :

  • Support and manage clinical trials for company, including protocol writing, clinical investigation reports, site selection and qualification of investigators.
  • Facilitate and support physician training for initiation of the trial, Site Initiation Visits, patient enrollment according to protocol inclusion criteria and site monitoring.
  • Assist in clinical cases and ensure that physicians and staff are well trained and educated with regards to patient selection, treatment planning, optimum use of system, etc.
  • Site monitoring, including scheduled visits, events reporting and documented interactions with clinical sites
  • Compiles required clinical documentation for regulatory submissions including patient consent forms, contracts and monitoring plans.
  • Work closely with the research team to ensure that all protocol required procedures and visits occur according to protocol specified guidelines and timely entry of the data in the electronic database.
  • Represent the company in all regulatory and third party audit requests for clinical trial information.
  • Deal with product-related site request and solve issues.
  • Engage with physicians and clinical staff, build relations and credibility to be a high level spokes partner.
  • Create and maintain effective partnerships with KOL.
  • Report results and work evolution on a regular basis to your line manager.
Profile:
  • Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or any related field.
  • 4-7 years minimum in the management of pre- and post-market medical device studies (class III) at country or European level.
  • Experience in clinical trial protocol writing, support for cardiovascular medical devices, and ability to manage cases in cath lab.
  • Experience introducing disruptive technology, which somehow changes the way clinicians operate.
  • Experience in directing, training physicians and staff to stand-alone level.
  • Flexible, roll-up-sleeves attitude, self-directed and willing to travel frequently.
  • Keen interest in scientific and technical issues related to clinical study.
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively with internal and external actors to achieve company objectives.

  • You closely collaborate with Production team in order to ensure quality system enables design and manufacturing success while maintaining compliance.
  • You contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality management system.
Profile:
  • You hold a Master’s in Industrial Pharmacy, or a PhD in biomedical sciences, biochemistry, life sciences, etc.
  • You are ideally QP registered.
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in production in the life sciences, ideally in the medical device industry.
  • You have experience with FDA Quality Systems Regulations, ISO 13485:2016, Quality Certificates and MDSAP.
  • You are able to foster a positive culture of growth, collaboration, and achievement across the organization.
  • You are rigorous, independent, pro-active and versatile.
  • You are a team player with a good oral and written communication.
  • You are fluent in French and English.

Sécurité/Infrastructure/Réseau

Responsabilités :

En tant que Project Manager – Sécurité/Infrastructure/Réseau, votre mission est de gérer de bout en bout les projets sécurité dans le domaine de l’infrastructure et du réseau.

Vos principales responsabilités sont les suivantes :

  • Coordonner toutes les activités tout au long des différentes phases du projet.
  • Livrer les livrables requis en accord avec les objectifs budgétaires, de qualité et de timing.
  • Appliquer la méthodologie demandée par le client (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, etc.).
  • Contrôler le scope et la viabilité du business case tout au long du projet.
  • Fédérer les équipes projet et favoriser la communication entre les différentes parties prenantes.
  • Rapporter l’évolution des démarches de manière régulière et structurée vers la hiérarchie.
Profil :
  • Vous disposez d’une à trois années d’expérience dans une position similaire. Les profils juniors sont également les bienvenus.
  • Vous avez une bonne connaissance générale de l’infrastructure (Windows, Linux, Unix) et des réseaux (LAN Cisco, WAN, Wifi). Connaissance en design des architectures réseau est un atout.
  • Vous possédez une bonne connaissance générale de la sécurité des réseaux et de l’infra (antivirus, firewalls, proxys, IDS/IPS, antispams, APT prevention systems, etc.).
  • Vous maitrisez la gestion de projet (Prince2 ou PMI), et avez une bonne compréhension d’Agile, Scrum et/ou Waterfall.
  • Vous êtes pragmatique, organisé(e), autonome, et doté(e) d’un bon esprit d’analyse et de synthèse.
  • Vous faites montre de leadership, de proactivité et aimez coordonner des projets.
  • Vous faites preuve d’un esprit d’équipe développé et avez de bonnes compétences communicationnelles et d’écoute.
  • Vous communiquez aisément en français. La connaissance de l’anglais/néerlandais est un atout.
  • Vous êtes disposé(e) à vous déplacer en fonction des missions (Bruxelles, Wallonie).
