The company’s headquarters are based in Louvain-la-Neuve. To strengthen their growth, we are currently looking for a (m/f) Business Development Manager who will be responsible for the activities’ development, mainly in Flanders.


Responsibilities

As Business Development Manager, you will be part of the Sales team and be responsible for building relationships with new clients in various industrial sectors and markets. You will work closely with Insens’ customer success team throughout the customer journey. As the Company continues to expand, you will also have room for professional development and internal growth.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Generate and develop new commercial leads.
  • Your main focus will be growing new business for Insens, detecting opportunities, identifying specific customer needs, and translating these into the specific Insens customer approach.
  • Specialize in focus sectors and research market segments.
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies and agreements.
  • Formulate new deal structures and pricing.
  • Lead customer negotiations.

Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English. French is a bonus. Willing to travel in Belgium (Flanders).
  • Proven track record in driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and closing deals.
  • Proactive and hands-on attitude, with an eagerness to learn.
  • Strong interest in commercial role and working with clients.
  • You are passionate about extending your professional network and approaching new customers by jointly creating solutions for their pain points.
  • Demonstrable affinity with technology and our values.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and great team player.
