Following a new financing of € 25m, Miracor Medical relocates from Austria to Awans in Belgium where open positions are available.
Miracor Medical raises new capital
Miracor Medical recently announced the closing of € 25m as part of a Series D financing round. Participating in this round were the new Belgian and Walloon public investors SFPI, SRIW and Meusinvest as well as existing investors.
To fulfill a condition of this financing, the company is relocating from Austria to Belgium in Awans (Province de Liège), to ensure the next phase of its growth and development.
A therapy to reduce infarct size and improve cardiac function
The new capital will be used to further develop and commercialize the PiCSO® Impulse System. This system is the first and only coronary sinus intervention designed to reduce infarct size, improve cardiac function and potentially reduce myocardial infarction.
