To support their growth, we are actively looking for a (m/f) Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
As Plant Manager, you are responsible for the entire plant, including related services (maintenance, warehouse, etc.). You are responsible for the complete management of the plant, considering performance targets and quality standards. You contribute to the commercial development of the business and continuous improvement of activities.
Your main responsibilities are:
- To ensure an optimal production process : lead times, efficiency, quality and technology.
- To supervise team leaders and (technical) employees.
- To plan production: formulate and monitor team leader objectives.
- To establish and control production budget with Operations Manager.
- To chair production meetings with purchasing and maintenance department.
- To draw up investment plans (3-5 years) for submission to the Executive Committee.
- To liaise with production, prevention, engineering, sales, HR, etc.
- To work with to the Plan-Do-Check-Adjust principle to reduce the impact on the environment.
- To implement the safety policy and achieve predefined safety objectives.
Profile
- You have a Masters’ degree, an engineering degree or equivalent through experience.
- You have 5 to 10 years' experience in a leadership position in a production environment. Experience of management systems (e.g. lean management) is a plus.
- You have a particular interest in technology and can make suggestions for improving production systems within the plant.
- You are results-oriented, assertive, and pragmatic.
- You have good people management skills to federate teams and achieve objectives.
- You're enthusiastic and eager to take on new challenges.
- You are fluent in English and French. A good command of Dutch would be appreciated.
