Responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to functional safety and reliability activities across several development and R&T projects in an aeronautical industrial environment. You will be involved in the analysis, structuring, and validation of safety-related data, while interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. Your work will directly support product safety, regulatory compliance, and long-term maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and contribute to functional safety analyses, including functional analysis and safety assessments
- Carry out FMEA/AMDEC analyses (functional, product, and process – DFMEA / PFMEA)
- Evaluate reliability figures and participate in reliability modeling and calculations
- Identify single points of failure and assess associated risks
- Conduct risk analyses and define mitigation and risk reduction plans
- Adapt safety and reliability methodologies to regulatory, customer, and project-specific requirements
- Identify critical design elements and propose concrete improvement actions
- Prepare technical deliverables, including reports, presentations, cost estimates, and inputs for maintenance and customer support activities
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, such as industrial engineering, mechanical, electromechanical, aeronautical, systems engineering, or a related technical field
- You have at least 5 years of experience in functional safety, reliability, or safety engineering within an industrial or aeronautical environment
- You have strong knowledge of functional safety and reliability methodologies, including FMEA/AMDEC, functional analysis, risk analysis, and reliability assessments
- You are comfortable working with technical standards, regulatory constraints, and safety procedures
- You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken, in a technical and international context
- You are analytical, structured, and rigorous, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations
