Our client is an engineering consultancy specialized in the field of numerical simulation.

Active across multiple sectors, the company supports its clients and partners — including major industry leaders in the Liège region — on various R&D projects. Driven by strong values, it is recognized for its expertise and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

In this key role, you will act as an operational reference point for the structuring and harmonization of health and safety practices between European sites and a production site based in Florida. You will play a central role in coordination, communication, and adaptation of procedures to real-life operational constraints, working closely with field teams.

Your main responsibilities

  • Analyze existing health and safety procedures and requirements in Belgium and France
  • Structure and synthesize these requirements into a clear and coherent framework
  • Adapt European procedures to the operational reality of the Florida site
  • Define standard theoretical health and safety procedures
  • Develop practical, field-applicable procedures (working at height, safety meetings, signage, key risk points, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with managers, shopfloor workers, and production and maintenance teams
  • Act as a field relay, ensuring understanding, alignment, and adoption of best practices
  • Contribute to the long-term structuring of operational practices while balancing group standards and local constraints

Profile

  • You have a technical or industrial educational background (industrial engineering, bachelor’s degree in electromechanics, mechanics, maintenance, industrial sciences, prevention, safety, or HSE)
  • You are comfortable analyzing, structuring, and synthesizing procedures and requirements, and translating them into clear and usable frameworks
  • You enjoy working close to the field, understanding real operational constraints, and adapting theoretical standards into practical, on-site procedures
  • You communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization (shopfloor workers, technicians, managers) and act as a relay between teams
  • You are structured, organized, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, with the autonomy to balance group standards and local operational realities
  • You are motivated by an international experience and are willing to be based in Belgium with regular stays in Florida (approximately two stays of 2–3 months, or shorter alternating periods depending on project needs, within ESTA regulations)
  • You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment

Your application will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, in accordance with the GDPR. PaHRtners promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
