To support its customer satisfaction, our client is strengthening its operational team and is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support customer experiencing technical difficulties.

Responsabilities

As Field Service Engineer, you will perform routine services to prevent future breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. The duties often include troubleshooting problems, replacing or repairing defective parts, conduct performance test, and providing customers with operational instructions.

You will provide important feedback regrading customer concerns, potential improvements, and the overall performance of the product.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Travel to customer locations to install, upgrade, repair or maintain equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspection on equipment and systems located in our warehouse.
  • Analyze technical issues and provide suitable solutions.
  • Provide training and support to customers on how to operate and maintain equipment.
  • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
  • Manage customer satisfaction through effectively meeting customer needs and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Keep technical knowledge updated by attending educational workshops.
  • Collaborate with R&D and operational teams and share information across the organization.
  • Maintain parts inventory and order any necessary parts or supplies.

Profile

  • Bachelor degree in a in a technical discipline (Life Sciences, Physical Sciences or Engineering).
  • Proven work experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with diagnostic, test, and repair processes.
  • Strong understanding of technical aspects of hardware and software.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in another European language is a strong asset.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%).
