To support the growth of Envirium Life Sciences, we are recruiting a Financial Manager to join their operations in Madang, Papua New Guinea (PNG).
This position is part of Kamapim, their program in Papua New Guinea that promotes sustainable growth and creates lasting value for local communities.
Responsibilities
As a Financial Manager, you will report directly to the PNG CEO and the Group CFO and play a key role in the administrative, financial, and operational management of the company.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Financial operations : Oversee treasury, cash flow, inventory reporting, and financial forecasting to ensure the company’s financial health.
- Administration : Supervise administrative processes, manage payments of purchases, and ensure smooth day-to-day banking operations.
- Accounting and control : Monitor accounts, validate financial statements, and coordinate with CFO to guarantee compliance and accuracy.
- HR aspects : Contribute to HR functions such as payroll, contracts, administration, recruitment and organizational support, in alignment with the company’s strategy.
- Partnership with the PNG’s CEO : Act as the right hand of the CEO in decision-making, providing insights and reports to drive growth.
- Leadership as a local back-up of the PNG CEO : Manage, delegate, and motivate teams while ensuring high standards of discipline, trust, and integrity.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, banking, accounting, or managerial roles.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Banking with CPA certification.
- Solid background in financial and banking efficiency and operational excellence.
- Proven leadership experience, able to delegate and manage diverse teams.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Teams) and experience with cloud-based systems.
- Excellent level of English (both written and spoken).
