To support it’s continued growth, Nanocyl is looking for a Manufacturing Director (M/F/X) to join their R&D and production center in Sambreville.
Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Director, you lead all production activities and play a key role in shaping the company’s industrial strategy. You ensure that operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, while empowering your teams to continuously improve.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Translating the company’s strategy into concrete production objectives.
- Leading and optimizing manufacturing operations to drive productivity and cost efficiency.
- Managing production planning and adapting resources to meet operational demands.
- Ensuring equipment reliability and promoting continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with Quality, R&D, Procurement and Sales departments.
- Coaching and developing production and maintenance teams in a culture of accountability.
- Guaranteeing full compliance with HSE standards and strengthening the safety culture.
- Contributing to innovation projets and the industrialization of new technologies.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry (or equivalent engineering background)
- You have at least 10 years of experience in industrial or chemical production management.
- You demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and drive change.
- You combine solid technical understanding (process, mechanical and electrical systems) with strategic vision.
- You are comfortable with digital tools, including Microsoft 365 and SAP.
- You communicate fluently in English (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of ISO standards or ISO 14000 certifications is a plus.
