Our client is an engineering consultancy specialized in the field of numerical simulation.

For one of its key clients located in the Liège area, we are actively looking for a Compliance & Engineering Lead.


Responsibilities

As a key player in the organization, you ensure the full alignment of the company’s systems and products with international norms and safety requirements, supporting project teams from concept to deployment.

  • Ensure compliance of systems and products with global standards (ASME, PED, IECEx, etc.).
  • Lead the company’s certification strategy for both EU and US markets.
  • Support development teams by integrating compliance at every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation required for product certification.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and emerging directives.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with notified bodies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Promote internal awareness and train teams on compliance procedures and best practices.

Profile

  • You have 10–15 years of experience in regulatory or compliance roles, ideally within Oil & Gas, chemicals, or energy.
  • You hold a master’s degree in civil or industrial Engineering.
  • You are skilled in dealing with international norms (ASME, PED, ATEX, IECEx, etc.).
  • You bring a strong technical foundation in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • You are fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • You demonstrate solid leadership, with strong communication and priority management skills in international settings.
