For one of its key clients located in Liège (Belgium), we are actively looking for R&D Engineer.
RESPONSABILITIES
As an R&D Engineer, you will contribute to the development and optimization of thermal processes for the production of renewable and alternative fuels. You will work on pilot and industrial projects, collaborating with technical teams and external partners.
- Develop thermal processes such as combustion, pyrolysis, and gasification.
- Conduct pilot-scale tests and analyze results.
- Supervise technicians and ensure reporting to project managers, R&D partners, and clients.
- Manage maintenance, optimization, and modernization of processes.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities, prepare quotes, and oversee work.
- Participate or lead R&D projects depending on experience.
- Contribute to regional and European projects (Competitiveness Clusters, RFCS, Horizon Europe…).
- Develop and maintain an R&D&I network with academic and industrial partners.
PROFILE
- You hold a degree in civil or industrial engineering.
- You apply your knowledge in industrialization or production on the field (experience appreciated but not mandatory).
- You have a solid understanding of energy management and valorization.
- You understand CO₂ purification and utilization in an industrial context.
- You manage pilot and industrial projects with rigor and autonomy.
- You demonstrate leadership, collaborative spirit, and proactivity.
- You communicate effectively in both French and English, orally and in writing.
