Responsibilities
As Senior Cell Culture Technician, you will be responsible for the development, execution and documentation of processes related to upstream cell culture and downstream exosomes purification. You will help optimize exosome production and loading, using conVeyXO’s technologies.
Key responsibilities :
- Develop adherent cell culture processes in T-Flasks, Cellstacks and proprietary bioreactors in GLP for transfer to GMP conditions.
- Carry out cell culture techniques (cryopreservation, aseptic handling under laminar airflow, use of disposable bioreactors, media exchange, harvesting, etc.).
- Participate in downstream processes: centrifugation, filtration, ultrafiltration.
- Conduct analytical assays (qPCR, enzymatic, colorimetric, fluorescence, particle sizing).
- Prepare, fill in and compile accurate documentation to ensure data traceability and compliance.
- Detect and anticipate problems and risks and suggest improvements.
- Participate in the laboratory management (equipment, stocks, cleaning, alarms).
- Contribute to the implementation of new techniques/technologies/methods.
- Ensure knowledge transfer with upstream and downstream partners.
- Support technology transfer to external GMP manufacturing partners.
Profile
- You hold a M.Sc. or Bachelor in science with cell biology knowledge.
- You have 5 years of experience in cell culture and EV downstream bioprocessing and/or drug delivery systems.
- You have in mesenchymal stem cell culture and exosomes production.
- Experience in a GMP environment and cleanroom handling is a plus.
- You demonstrate good record-keeping skills and experience with SOP and GLP.
- You are fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
- You are organized, rigorous, and observant, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- You are adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, thriving in dynamic situations.
- You show enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a strong sense of ownership in delivering results.
