To ensure their strong growth, we are looking for a R&D Mechanical Design Engineer - Energy (M/F).
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are:
- Plan and execute mechanical designs using 3D CAD tools such as CREO or SolidWorks.
- Apply Design for Excellence methodologies: DFM, DFA, and FMEA.
- Perform virtual simulations and analyses to test and optimize mechanical designs.
- Oversee the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes, including test planning, execution, and iterative design improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation such as design reports, technical specifications, and analysis summaries in line with internal and external standards.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with all engineering requirements.
Profile
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Around 3- 5 years of experience in the design and development of electromechanical systems.
- Strong proficiency with 3D CAD modeling tools (SolidWorks or Creo).
- Proven experience in FMEA and in applying DFM/DFA/DFS principles.
- Hands-on experience in thermal and structural analysis at both component and system levels.
- Familiarity with the design of UL/IEC-compliant enclosures.
- Ability to define and document system architecture and technical requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full fluency in English (written and spoken).
