Our client is a Belgian-based international industrial group, operating multiple production sites across Europe and recognised for its strong technological expertise and high value-added manufacturing activities.

The company operates in a highly regulated industrial environment, where operational continuity, safety and cybersecurity are critical.

Responsabilités

As Cybersecurity Lead, you lead cybersecurity initiatives and support security operations across European sites.

Your main responsibilities are :

  • Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures and controls at each European site
  • Conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scans and audits, and coordinating remediation actions with Infrastructure & Operations teams
  • Leading incident response activities, including investigation, containment, communication and remediation
  • Collaborating closely with the Global Security Operations team to ensure alignment with corporate cybersecurity standards
  • Contributing to ongoing cybersecurity projects, including NIS2, and other Security Operations activities
  • Promoting cybersecurity awareness and training among local teams and monitoring compliance
  • Monitoring and reporting on cybersecurity KPIs, incidents and compliance metrics
  • Managing relationships with local vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to security requirements
  • Working with operations and engineering teams to secure production systems without impacting safety or availability
  • Monitoring OT environments for anomalies, unauthorised changes and potential cyber threats
  • Supporting compliance with OT security standards such as IEC 62443 and NIS2

Profil

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, NIS2)
    • Hands-on NIS2 implementation experience is considered a key asset
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection and vulnerability management solutions
  • Strong expertise in Windows and Unix operating systems
  • Proven ability to identify and remediate network vulnerabilities
  • Experience with security patching in industrial networks, as well as IDS/IPS operation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken; French is an asset
