Our client is an engineering consultancy specialized in the field of numerical simulation.

Active across multiple sectors, the company supports its clients and partners — including major industry leaders in the Liège region — on various R&D projects. Driven by strong values, it is recognized for its expertise and responsiveness.

For one of its key clients located in Liège (Belgium), we are actively looking for a Global Site Development Lead.

As part of their growth strategy, the group is launching a strategic project to set up a new manufacturing facility in Casablanca, modeled after an existing site in Florida, involving significant investment and high coordination requirements across international teams.

Responsibilities

In this key role, you will lead a major industrial investment project, establishing a new manufacturing facility in Casablanca. You will oversee the project from preparation to operational launch, coordinating international teams and ensuring alignment with the group’s standards and objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and structure the investment project, collaborating with all internal stakeholders
  • Manage the project end-to-end, from preparation to operational setup
  • Organize and oversee supplier consultations, compare offers, and lead negotiations
  • Coordinate international shipments and manage on-site receipt of equipment and deliveries
  • Manage and coordinate multiple trades and contractors involved in the project
  • Ensure operational management of the site, monitoring budget, quality, and timelines
  • Act as the liaison between international sites (Belgium, Morocco, Florida) to guarantee project alignment
  • Report project progress regularly and anticipate potential risks or bottlenecks

Note: This role does not involve making detailed technical decisions (equipment, industrial methods, or technical solutions).

Profile

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in managing industrial investment projects
  • You have successfully led complex projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders and teams
  • You are structured, autonomous, and results-oriented, with strong coordination skills
  • You are internationally mobile, willing to work primarily in Morocco, with occasional travel to Belgium and Florida
  • You communicate fluently in French and English, both written and spoken
  • You are comfortable leading a project as a coordinator, without needing to be an engineer by training

Your application will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, in accordance with the GDPR. PaHRtners promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
