To support the growth of Envirium Life Sciences, we are recruiting a Financial Controller to join their operations in Mauritius.

Responsibilities

As Group Financial Controller, you support the Group CFO in financial reconciliation and performance improvement across the Group’s entities in DRC, Madagascar and Papua New Guinea. Beyond reviewing figures, you play a hands-on, action-oriented role, identifying inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities and performance improvement levers across the business.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Supervise the Group financial controlling cycle, from raw data to consolidated analysis.
  • Ensure reconciliation between management accounts, statutory accounts and cash movements.
  • Analyze cost structures, margins, working capital needs and cash usage.
  • Identify, together with the Group CFO, cost-saving opportunities and performance improvement areas.
  • Work with local teams to turn financial analysis into concrete actions.
  • Take full financial responsibility for the Papua New Guinea entity.
  • Support the growth of this subsidiary while ensuring strong financial discipline and risk control.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, group finance or audit.
  • Strong expertise in financial reconciliation, performance analysis and cost control.
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid financial modelling capabilities.
  • Autonomous, structured, rigorous and detail-oriented.
  • Able to operate both at Group level and in a hands-on operational environment.
  • Fluent in English and French.
