To ensure their strong growth, we are looking for a R&D Electricity Engineer - Energy (M/F).
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are:
- You will develop the next generation capacitors focusing on the electrical design.
- Lead R&D project or work-package, with structured and target-oriented working style.
- Build experimental set-ups, conduct tests and analyze test results, possibly including physical modelling.
- Work with a global R&D team ensuring a knowledge sharing, timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Close collaboration with Power Grids Research organization and with academia.
- Create ideas and proposals for new R&D projects.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers and other external partners.
- Document results in the form of technical reports, presentations, IP etc.
Profile
- PhD or MSc combined with background in dielectrics, High voltage physics and/or electrotechnology,
- Ideally 3 years experience in the field of film capacitors, film metallization (product or process).
- Sound analytical skills and experience with planning, conducting and analysis of experiments.
- Ability to also work in other technical areas, as for example: materials, insulation systems, thermal management, multiphysics integration.
- Good communication skills (oral and written) and team worker.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in, or ability to develop, project management and technical leadership skills.
