As part of the development of its activities across the Benelux region, our client is looking for a Business Developer Benelux to strengthen its commercial presence and support the growth of its customer portfolio.

BUSINESS DEVELOPER BENELUX — B2B INDUSTRY (M/F/X)

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Business Developer Benelux, you will contribute to the commercial development of an international company active in the distribution of technical solutions and raw materials for B2B industrial customers.

Your role will consist of developing and maintaining a customer portfolio across the Benelux region, identifying new business opportunities, ensuring high-quality customer follow-up, and working closely with internal teams to deliver solutions adapted to market needs.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Developing commercial activities across the Benelux region, with both existing customers and new prospects
  • Identifying new growth opportunities by analysing customer needs, market trends, and competitor dynamics.
  • Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with key stakeholders in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
  • Managing and developing strategic customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth.
  • Preparing, negotiating, and following up on commercial offers, pricing conditions, and contractual agreements in line with internal guidelines.
  • Working closely with internal teams, including inside sales, product management, supply chain, and finance, to ensure smooth and efficient customer service.
  • Monitoring commercial indicators, updating information in the CRM, and providing sales forecasts, activity reports, and market feedback.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of commercial processes, follow-up tools, and overall service quality.
  • Representing the company during customer meetings, international trade fairs, and industry events across Europe
  • Participating regularly in commercial meetings and internal events organised at international level.

Profile

  • You have proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management, ideally within an industrial environment.
  • You have a good understanding of the Benelux market and are comfortable developing a commercial network across the region.
  • Experience in the distribution of chemical products, raw materials, industrial ingredients, or technical B2B solutions is a strong asset.
  • You are able to identify customer needs, build relevant commercial proposals, and develop trust-based long-term relationships.
  • You have strong skills in negotiation, prospecting, customer portfolio management, and commercial follow-up.
  • You are comfortable working with CRM tools and commercial reporting systems.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of French is a strong asset.
