Responsibilities

As After Sales Team Leader, you will lead a team of four After Sales Engineers ensuring the commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Socomec's power solutions while acting as the key technical contact for customers. You will report to the National After Sales Manager.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Lead and coordinate the team of After Sales Engineers across the northern region of Belgium, organising monthly meetings to ensure efficient workload distribution and team alignment.
  • Act as a field expert capable of assisting the team with complex assessments and sensitive operations.
  • Oversee the commissioning of products on major projects, ensuring compliance with installation procedures, agreed schedules and customer communication.
  • Plan preventive maintenance of products, ensuring timely replacement of parts and review of mission reports.
  • Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on installed products, delivering comprehensive on-site diagnostics and repairs.
  • Write and share detailed customer intervention reports in compliance with Socomec standards, including usage recommendations and follow-up actions.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, proactively maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Collect and relay customer needs and feedback to relevant internal teams (Service Sales, product management).
  • Ensure and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company security policies across all intervention sites.

Profile

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • You have significant experience in after-sales management in the field of UPS or power solutions field.
  • You combine hands-on technical expertise with the ability to lead, coach and develop a team.
  • You demonstrate proven team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a technical team.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. A working knowledge of French is an asset.
  • You combine strong organizational talent with an independent, results-oriented approach.
