Responsabilities

Based in Liège and reporting to the Senior Scientist, you contribute to Enodia’s discovery and preclinical programs. You generate and analyze experimental data to support scientific understanding and the advancement of the company’s drug discovery pipeline. Working closely with scientists and multidisciplinary project teams, you combine hands-on laboratory work with data analysis and continuous improvement of experimental approaches.

Your main responsibilities are :

  • Perform in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo experiments according to established protocols, ensuring quality, traceability and compliance.
  • Generate, analyze and interpret experimental data to support scientific discussions and project decisions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols and workflows when required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new assays, methods and experimental approaches.
  • Conduct scientific literature reviews to support ongoing research activities and identify relevant new methodologies.
  • Document experimental activities and results in a clear, accurate and structured manner.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and communicate experimental results effectively.
  • Support the day-to-day organization of the laboratory, including the appropriate use and maintenance of equipment, materials and consumables.

Profile

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific field.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience, ideally gained within a biotech, pharmaceutical or comparable academic environment.
  • You have hands-on experience with in vivo studies and are authorized to work with laboratory animals in Belgium through a valid FELASA B certificate or equivalent.
  • You have solid experience with cell-based assays, including primary cell culture, immune cell handling and multicolor flow cytometry; experience with 3D cell culture or ex vivo assays is an asset.
  • You are comfortable working independently in the laboratory, troubleshooting experiments and contributing to protocol optimization; knowledge of techniques such as Western blotting, ELISA or CRISPR-based tools is an additional asset.
  • You combine rigor, organization and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset and a good command of English, both written and spoken.
